Founded in 2024 by two United States Marine Corps veterans, Myrmidon Protection Services was established with a vision to bring integrity, discipline, and professionalism to the security industry. Our executive leadership combines over 34 years of experience across the military, public safety departments, and private security operations—expertise that sets the foundation for delivering tailored, effective, and dependable security solutions.
Before establishing Myrmidon Protection Services, both founders individually managed and represented security companies that collectively grew to over 600 security officers, generated more than $26 million in annual billing, operated from multiple offices, and served a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from retail corporations to diplomats. This proven history of building, scaling, and leading large security operations provides the insight and capability necessary to manage complex security needs at every level.

Kevin Huot
Kevin Huot, CEO and founder of Myrmidon Protection Services, established the company in 2024 with a mission to set new standards in security leadership and operational excellence.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Kevin began his career in public safety as a Public Safety Officer and Wildland Firefighter at Pepperdine University. He later transitioned into the private security sector, where he advanced through specialized training in Close Quarters Battle (CQB), Active Shooter Response, Incident Command, and Executive Protection. His work included supporting the U.S. Department of State’s Dignitary Protection Division, providing elite security for high-profile individuals.
Kevin’s leadership career accelerated when he joined a veteran-owned security firm as a Director. Within two years, he rose to Chief Operating Officer, expanding operations from 120 to over 400 security personnel and managing offices across San Diego, Los Angeles, and Oakland. With full autonomy over strategy, officer placement, and company management, he drove significant growth and operational success.
Today, Kevin leads Myrmidon Protection Services with the same principles that have defined his career—decisive leadership, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to safety. His vision continues to shape the company as an innovator in the security industry.
